No Activities Scheduled JESUS 'N JAVA (Every Tuesday at 9:30a) - details CHRISTMAS PARTY!! - details WOMEN'S BREAKFAST!! - details Bulletin Announcements for next Sunday need to be turned in to Cindy by Tuesday noon of this week. Cindy will be out of the office after Tuesday. A Christmas letter from Kevin Rigg... Take a moment and read a very touching letter on the bulletin board about Kevin’s ministry at Up and Out. 2007 Directory is in the works!! Please check the “rough draft” copy on the narthex table for any corrections. Christmas Eve Our family service will be at 7:00 p.m. and the candlelight service at 11:00 p.m. Anyone wanting to offer their talents in song, dance, instrumental, poetry, or dramatic reading, please sign up in the narthex. Musical performances will begin at 6:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve. SALT SHAKER UPDATES... Thank You!! to everyone who helped with holiday baby-sitting in any way. We had a good neighborhood response and everyone was very grateful for some time alone. We even connected with some Kids Hope kids. Thanks again for serving! Please pick up a NECM/ Arby's flyer on the back table. This Thursday, Dec. 14, Arby’s will donate 15% of your lunch cost to NECM (North End Community Ministry), but you must present the flyer. |
Birthday Party for Jesus - Sunday!! Please bring in unwrapped toys for girls, boys, and teens. Keep them with you in your seats for the kids to pick up during the service. "Salt Shaker" Mission News CLOTHING DRIVE Christmas Dancers Anyone interested in performing for Christmas Eve morning (Sunday), please contact Tracy Pickett. Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, November 29. Soup for Sale!! Our famous tasty soup is now available! Cost is still $4.00 / pkg & $7.00 / pkg in soup cup. You can buy during coffee time or see Anne Williamson PowerPoint Coordinator Needed !! We need to find someone to take the reins as PowerPoint coordinator beginning in January. The responsibilities would entail coordinating, scheduling, and backing up an awesome group of teens who prepare and run the weekly PowerPoint presentations; also attend Wednesday night praise team practice to edit songs and insure proper verse order; and upon receiving the weekly songs in a Word doc, edit the document as needed and email it to the teen scheduled to prepare the presentation for that week. Please talk to Dawnlynn, Pastor Allen, or call the office if you’re interested or have questions. Christmas Program We’ve got ideas… boy, do we have ideas! If you would like a major or minor role in the Sunday School Christmas Program, please contact Karen or Pastor Allen. We could use lots of help. The Lighting of the Advent Wreath If you and your family, Sunday School class, or small group would like to light the wreath for one of the Sundays in Advent, please see Pastor Allen. SCRIP Russ will be available in the narthex today for your scrip purchases. If you’re not familiar with the scrip program, it makes an excellent gift idea! See Russ with any questions. Adult Fellowship Christmas Tea Tuesday, December 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Timmers’. We will first meet at church and carpool because of limited parking in the winter. Please bring an hors d’ oeuvre to share. Table service and dessert will be furnished. Each person should bring an item or two (about $5 in value) for the church pantry. RSVP to Nancy Timmers at 364-4974. Help Needed for our littlest ones!! We need to put a new nursery committee in place for January 2007.
